The Rehearsal

The rehearsal for Brooke's sunday school teacher's wedding was on Friday. It was very hot, but the kids had fun.

The Wedding II

Here are some pictures of the rest of the wedding.

The Wedding

Today, Brooke was a beautiful flower girl for her Sunday school teacher. The wedding was in a outside garden at the Maison & Jardin Restaurant in Maitland, FL. It was a very nice setting for a great wedding. Brooke performed very well and got her first ride in a Hummer limo. She pulled the ring bearer down the isle in a white wagon since he was only two. She wore a beautiful dress and saw some of her friends she had not seen in a long time. The photos are of the rehearsal and the wedding.

I'm Saved

For the last couple of months Brooke has been asking us many questions about salvation. On Thursday, Brooke and Ethan had to take a little nap. A couple of hours after they got up, Brooke came up to me and told me she asked Jesus into her heart and got saved. I asked her when she did that, and she answered that she did not go to sleep but laid in her bed and prayed and asked God to forgive her of all her sins and to save her. Right after which she said , "I will go to heaven and live with Jesus forever." The next thing she said was "Mommy, I want to get baptized. When can I get baptized?" She was so excited and so happy, I wish I had it on video to show the excitement and joy on her face. We are so thankful that Brooke trusted in Jesus as her Savior at this young age. Here is a picture of Brookie saying, "I am saved!!!!!"

Party for Brooke!!!

Here are pictures of Brookie's party. We can't believe she's 5!

The Beginning

Well, I guess this will be a way for all the folks who are interested in what is happening in our lives to find out. First off, Brooke, that's our firstborn, turned five on Wednesday June 11. Charity made her a princess cake and she received many princess presents. Last year she got a bike from us, but this year we went with more girly things like clothes, books and dolls. Ethan is getting very tall and is talking much more. He is in that stage where he spouts off a new saying every day or two. The latest is, "Your kidding me." He sometimes gets along with Brooke, but for the most part he just sits on her. Brooke being a complacent soul lets him. Charity just finished teaching her second year in a title one public school and wants to spend as much time as she can with Ethan and Brooke before going back to work this coming fall. She plans to visit far off exotic places like Michigan, and Illinois this summer. As for me, hopefully, I will spend it working 14 hour days flying to far off places like Key West and Naples. I have already been to Key West about ten times this year, and it is not all that it is made out to be. In place of flying, I have started to paint again and should start to become a household name in about 50 years or so. Well that about sums up our lives at present. Drop us a line some time.
